Weight Watchers, Reconsidered

There are lots of times that I have said to myself "I can do this for 10 minutes. I can do anything for 10 minutes". And more often than not, it is true that anyone can literally do anything for 10 minutes: sit through a terrible work meeting, listen to someone berate you on the phone, sort through millions of pictures to find the one you need, walk your dog in the blazing heat, get through a class, pack up moving boxes, listen to voicemails....

Except WW doesn't really work like that. It's kind of an all the time thing. And I still like to eat. I enjoy it. And I still kind of don't care when i feel really full, because I secretly love laying on the couch like "ohhh that was so good" (in regards to whatever it was for dinner).

So in however many weeks I've been doing WW (just 2 more to go until Lifetime!), I sort of expected to have this major revelation and just stop eating. And enjoy vegetables more than I enjoy bread with butter. And not feel like I have to have a lot of hot dogs whenever hot dogs are being made.

You can imagine how disappointed I am because sadly, it is not that way. Tomatoes do not suddenly taste like movie popcorn. I would still rather eat a Chipotle burrito than a garden salad with grilled chicken.

This is hard.

Still.

I really have to think about what I'm eating, and when I don't, the scale creeps up a little bit. I think (hope) that I'm still within 2 pounds of my goal weight, but I'm not 100% sure. My home scale is a bit wonky, and because I don't have to go to WW meetings weekly, I don't. Clearly that is the first problem. I really need to go to meetings, even if WW says I don't have to. The second problem is that I'm not in a place where I can stop tracking. I need to do that too. I am pretty good about it, but I do need to be better. I know that.

Basically, I need to stop hoping that I'm going to make Lifetime in the next 2 weeks and just make a concentrated effort. Duh. It's that simple.

(except I really like to eat....)

Week Review

This week marks the first time since I was pregnant that I actually worked out.

To clarify: I did work out for the first few weeks I was pregnant. Then I was just walking. Then I was ok with just being plump & pregnant and trying to drink enough water was exercise in it self. After I gave birth, I did WW and dropped 60 lbs and am back to my pre-pregnancy weight by solely watching what I eat. I figured this was a good week to get my butt into gear.

Back to the recap.

I hit the treadmill for 30 minutes on Tuesday (some incline, some intervals), did a quick 30 minute circuit on Wednesday (10 min ARC trainer, 10 min cycling, 10 min running), and took an hour long Power Yoga class this morning.

Also? I didn't buy one Starbucks Frap this week, which is a total WIN. See yesterday's post for how I made that happen.

I have a weight goal for the time I go on vacation. I don't know how feasible it is, so my other goal is to just work out at least 3x a week. OK, if we're being honest here.... my new fitness efforts were totally spurred by this post. Ashley at The Domestic Wannabe totally lit a fire under my butt.

Game on.

7 months later...

I hit my goal at Weight Watchers.

I finally freaking hit my goal. Thank God, because paying for WW was kind of getting expensive.

I love charts and tidy little lists, so here's how that whole 60 lb weight loss went down:

  • In 38 weeks of pregnancy, I put on a hot 60 lbs.
  • In the first 6 weeks postpartum, I lost 40 lbs. FORTY POUNDS in SIX WEEKS. Holy crap. I assume the majority of that weight was my almost 9 lb baby, a heavy duty placenta, and a crapload of water weight. I mean, my ankles were like coke cans...
  • I started Weight Watchers at 6 weeks postpartum. I was nursing, and I got so many points that I will admit I didn't keep track as well as I should have. However, I did lose 9 pounds in the first 6 weeks on WW.
  • In total, I lost 20 lbs on WW in 24 weeks. I will admit that the last 6 weeks were a struggle... my pants fit, so the last 4 lbs weren't a huge deal. Except I really wanted to hit goal... so I sucked it up and did everything I could to lose the last 0.8 lb.
  • May 27 - GOAL Weight, which also happens to be my pre-pregnancy weight.
So I officially lost the weight and just have to maintain that weight (within 2 lbs +/-) for the next 6 weeks. Then I can stop paying!!! And I can spend that $40 a month on size 2 pants at the GAP. Fun fact - that happened on Saturday. I've been wearing size 4 pants but tried on a 2 for shits and giggles. They fit. Better than the 4s. I almost shit myself, then I bought them. It was a glorious day.

Even though I'm back to my pre-pregnancy weight (which coincidentally is the lightest I've even been in my adult life), I still have some toning to do. I need to find time to work out. I want to say "I need to find time to work out, but I'd rather be fooling around on Pinterest", but I'm not going to say it. I'm going to think it, though. And while I'm thinking it, I will be dragging my husband, dog, and baby on an after dinner walk.

The plan is to start slow with post-dinner walks. It'll be good for us, and even better for our pup (who turned 7 on Friday). Once we get into that routine, maybe I'll feel the urge to do more. Or at least, I hope. We went on a walk today around 7:30p, and it nice. The sun had gone down enough that it wasn't blazing hot out, but it was still warm enough for the baby to enjoy the warm air on her bare feet.

Baby toes are so munch-able... did you know?

Friday Roundup

Little Bean turns 4 months old tomorrow.

On one hand, it's sort of funny that she's only 4 months old because it feels like she's been here forever. On the other hand, HOW IS MY BABY 4 MONTHS OLD ALREADY?

Quite the conundrum. I'm excited to see how much she weighs at her 4 month appt on Monday... I'm guessing she's at least 15 lbs. The baby/car seat combo is getting pretty heavy. And by pretty heavy I mean holy crap, at least I don't have to go to the gym to get an arm workout.

At 4 months postpartum, I'm down 54 lbs and have just 6 to go to reach my pre-pregnancy weight! I'm feeling pretty good about this. Nope. I'm actually feeling f-ing amazing about this. Yesterday one of my supervisors stopped me in the hallway and told me that I "didn't look like I just gave birth". All I have to say is Thank you, Weight Watchers. And breastfeeding.

I didn't really talk a lot about how I was going to feed Little Bean, mainly because I didn't want to make any huge statements and then have it not work out or something, but nursing came pretty easily to both of us and I am possibly part cow. Or mostly cow. And I think it really helped take off the weight. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey!

We're doing our taxes this weekend and it looks like we're going to break even. Thank GOD because the $1K we owed last year kind of sucked. Know what not owing means? Our house fund gets to keep that $1K I thought we were going to owe this year.

And I got a letter in the mail yesterday from the car loan people. Apparently GAP insurance is calculated for the length of the loan and split evenly amoung the payments, and so by paying off our loan 16 months early, we also paid 16 extra months of GAP insurance. And they want to send us a check to reimburse us for that 16 months of GAP insurance that we don't need. Hotness.

And finally, we're going to sign our lease again for at least 15 months. I want to sign it for 2 years but that wasn't an option on the renewal form, so we're going to see about that this weekend. I'd love to lock in a monthly rent payment so I don't have to worry about it going up (um, like it did on this renewal... which we'll also be talking about with them this weekend). And I decided that since we're going to stay put for 2 years, we're going to do some work around the house. Before & after pics to come as we find time to paint and get some new curtains up.

Oh, and in case you were wondering.... the check was misplaced.

50

WOOOO HOOOOOO!!!!

In the last 11.5 weeks, I have lost exactly 50 lbs. FIFTY!!!

Pre-pregnancy, I was the skinniest I have ever been and now I only have 10 more pounds to go till I hit that number again. Granted, most of the pregnancy weight came off rather quickly because I did have an almost 9 lb child, and I was extra swollen with what I assume was a massive quantity of water weight.... but I started doing Weight Watchers 6 weeks ago and have lost 9.6 lbs following the new Points Plus program.

Yep. So I'm hoping that the last 10 pounds fall off just as easily in the next 6 weeks.

That would mean a 60 lb loss in 17 weeks. That's some Biggest Loser weight loss, right there.

6 Weeks Old & WW

Baby Girl turned 6 weeks old on Tuesday! We went for my 6 week postpartum check up and everything looks ok - I was asked what i'd be doing for birth control, and so I asked what I could take while nursing. My OB ran through a very short list, ending with the mini-pill... which is apparently just 1 hormone instead of 2, and is "a bit less effective". Since I can't afford 2 infants in daycare, we'll skip that one... I mean really? Who is saying "Oh well let's go with that - what's the difference if it's a bit less effective?" Yikes.

Yesterday I decided I should get myself to Weight Watchers so that when I go back to work (in 8 weeks ::oh God::) some of my clothes fit the right way because I am soooo not buying more. I went to the WW Center at noon and the meeting was full of weirdos who wanted to compare the old plan with the new plan. FYI - WW changed the plan and now all the points are different. You can't use the old plan any more, so what do we need to talk about? I can't wait to go back to my WW @ Work meetings.... the people there are so much more normal.

At any rate, Baby Girl was a champ and slept through the meeting. I'm hoping to lose a good 5 lbs before we go home for Christmas, but even then, I'm not sure what will fit. Apparently I threw away all of my bigger jeans when I dropped all that weight last winter (you know, in time to get knocked up and put on 60 lbs) and my closet is full of size 4 jeans that get up my thighs but aren't even close to buttoning. I really only have 15lbs to lose... fingers crossed that my pants eventually fit again!

Weight

Per my shocking announcement, yesterday Baby Girl turned two weeks old and she is growing like a weed! She was 8lbs, 13oz at birth and 8lbs 3oz when we were discharged on Day 5. Yesterday she clocked in at 9lbs even... she looooves eating, which is good because I love snuggling and nursing means lots of uninterrupted snuggle time every day.

She's gaining weight, which is awesome, and I'm losing... which is also awesome.

My last belly shot was on Friday, October 22 at 38 weeks:

I can't believe there was an 8lb, 13 oz baby in there just 2 weeks ago. It's mind boggling, really. In my 38th week, the scale was tipping alarmingly close to the 200 pound mark... I think at exactly 38 weeks I was 194lbs on my home scale. When I woke up on October 26 and realized I was in labor, I really wish I would have had the mind to ask Ryan to take one last belly shot... sadly, I was a bit more focused on the fact that I was in labor and so there are only some very unflattering photos of me actually in labor at the hospital.

But I did have the mind to step on the doctor's scale one last time on my way out of the midwife's office before we headed to the hospital.... my final, all-time high pregnancy weight?

197 pounds. Yikes. I do remember telling Ryan I was sorry I didn't hit 200, because I did semi-want to see that on the digital scale. At any rate, I put on a total of 60 pounds with this pregnancy.

As of today, at exactly 2 weeks postpartum, I'm down to 162. Whoooo hoooo... 35 lbs down in 2 weeks. Not too shabby! The photo evidence:

Don't mind the soap streaks on the mirror... I now wash my hands 50x a day and sometimes my thorough washing splatters all over.

So I'm 35 down and still have 25 lbs to go to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight. My plan is to eat when I'm hungry, make sure I'm drinking enough water, and just make sure I'm not mindlessly snacking just because I can...... until my 6 week checkup. Once I get the ok to start exercising, it's time for Weight Watchers (for nursing mothers!)... because clearly I'd rather restrict my calorie intake than go for a run :-)

Edited To Add: I got on the scale this morning and it said 159.... whoooo hooooo!! 38 down and 22 to go!

A mixed bag.

Friday thoughts:

LOST comes back in 4 days. We watched the final episode from last season the other day, and I totally forgot how much I love that show. Can't wait for it to come back.

Teen Mom post-season show with Dr. Drew on Tuesday night. Am I the only one excited to see this?

iTouch: Please come to my house + be my friend. I heart you.

I am so sick of the winter. It's freezing cold, everything is all static-y, and I hate having to be bundled up in thick clothes. Spring, please.

Dinner at Pazo last night was amazing. I am now on a mission to gather up our friends to have a tapas + cocktail night at one of Pazo's lounge areas. There's a few big tables with couches on all 4 sides for lounging, eating, drinking, and general grown-up hanging out. It looks fabulous. Just like the food.

If you have red nail polish on and you chip it, you can totally fix it with a red Sharpie. I did, and it looks less whore-ish than leaving it chipped.

In 12 weeks of WW, I have dropped 2 full pant sizes. WW is expensive in that it costs money to do the program, and it costs money to buy pants that do not hang off my ass. It is also expensive in that once you see what size pants you now wear, you buy them in bulk because seeing a "4" stamped on the inside of said pants is the highlight of your day.

Happy Friday!

Slow Cooker Goodness

On Monday I threw this out there for the world to see. So far, so good! We're sticking to our menu, which means we're sticking to our budget. 9 days in and we're still doing good.

I want to say that the Sloppy Joes lasted as many "leftover" days as I had budgeted for, but um... not so much. It was done that night. 6 servings between 2 people. This is a problem folks. On the up side, we skipped the bread and just put it in a bowl (yes, it's that good). On the down side... 6 servings between 2 people.

At least it was a Weight Watchers recipe, right?

So, for your viewing/culinary pleasure, here's the recipe from the WW Momentum Cookbook (paraphrased by me):

Low-and-Slow Slopp Joes
Need:
1 lb. lean ground beef (7% fat or less)
1 (14.5 oz) can of diced tomatoes
1 small onion, chopped
1 celery stalk, chopped (I left it our; we don't like celery)
3 TBSP dark brown sugar
2 TSP Worcestershire sauce
1.5 TSP cumin
1 TSP chili powder (I was liberal)
1/2 TSP salt
6 whole wheat sandwich rolls

To Do:
  1. Brown the meat in a non-stick pan with some Pam over medium heat. Be sure to break it all up nicely.
  2. Transfer meat to slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients, except for rolls (duh). Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 6-8 hours.
  3. 1/2 cup of sloppy joe per roll. Or just put it in a bowl with maybe some shredder cheddar cheese. Holy crap, it's good.

If you eat a 1/2 cup of sloppy joe on a roll, it's 4 points per serving. If you eat 3 servings with no roll.... I estimated 8 points. But who knows. I guess I could put the ingredients into the WW recipe builder, but I'm too lazy. Sorry.

I know a lot of folks don't like to make crock pot stuff that needs browning or additional steps before hand. Here's the thing - just do it the night before, and put it in the fridge. Then assemble it in the morning and turn it on. The browning takes 5 minutes. Just do it.

Obsessed

I'm doing WW at Work and have been torturing my poor husband with Boca Chik'n Patties and lots of Craisin-Bleu Cheese Salads (before you "poor him", you should know that he also dropped some pounds) because they're easy to make, tasty, and I can count the Points.

While I could probably live on Boca chik'n patties and Progresso Tomato Basil soup for the next 10 weeks, my husband may not survive.

Enter my new favorite blog. Gina's WW Recipes has a ton of different recipes, most using things you'd have around the house anyway (nothing weird = bonus), and all looking super good. I'm on a No Shopping Strike right now, seeing as we leave on Wednesday for Christmas in NJ, so as soon as we get back, I'm heading out to the store to pick up stuff for this, this, and this.

Bliss

I got the KitchenAid Ice Cream Attachment the other day and I can't even explain to you my deep, undying love for it.

The best part about homemade ice cream (besides the fact that I know exactly what's in it) is the ability to invent flavors (and not wait for Ben and/or Jerry to come up with it first). My new favorite, plus the recipe should you want to replicate this deliciousness:

Vanilla-Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream
1 cup of Splenda Sugar Blend for Baking
1.5 cups of fat-free half and half
1 cup of light cream
3/4 cup + 2 TBSP Eggbeaters
1 TBSP Vanilla Extract
1 TBSP Mint Extract
3/4 cup of shaved chocolate chips (put the chips in a food processor)

Directions:
Mix all ingredients (except chips) in a bowl. Add to the ice cream attachment, following all manufactuers directions. Mix for 28 minutes. Add chips in last two minutes, and continue mixing until blended (about 2 min). Pour ice cream into freezer safe container and put in freezer for atleast 4 hours (over night is better). Enjoy.

Makes 2 quarts, which is about 16 half cup servings. Each serving is only 3 WW points :-)

EDIT: Holy crap, if you have an ice cream attachment and you like pumpkin, you need to get on this pumpkin ice cream. It's unreal. And if you use heavy cream, but sub out regular sugar for Splenda Sugar Mix, then it's also only 3 WW points per half cup serving. You're welcome.

I got my hair cut this weekend

and my hair dresser asked me if I had lost weight. I was basically thrilled to death, seeing as I'm paying through the nose to do Weight Watchers at Work. Yes, the scale is creeping down, but to have someone notice was pretty stellar.

I figured I'd share my secret weapons with you because... well because I really like them and you might, too.

I'm normally not a huge fan of tomato soup because it's thin and doesn't really have great flavor. The only place I really ever get tomato soup is at Jason's Deli, where it's a little chunkier and has bits of stewed tomatos and basil. Yum. This Progresso soup, however, is the best canned tomato soup that I've tried:It's 2 WW points per serving, or 4 points for the whole can (I obviously go for the whole can). It pairs really well with grilled cheese or even a salad. I've actually been makinmg salads for work with Italian mix lettuce, 1/4 cup of Craisins, 1/4 cup low fat blue cheese crumbles, and Kraft Free Balsamic dressing for a total of 5 points. If I do the salad, I have 1/2 the can of soup for a total of 7 points for lunch. I really hate the cliche of "oh it's so filling" (because let's face it, the only thing that's really filling is a load of bread dipped on olive oil), but it really is.... lame, I know. But I can have that for lunch and really not be hungry till dinner around 6pm.

Of course, in the event that I do get hungry between lunch and dinner, this is my go to snack:
15 Fiber Select Wheat Thins and a salsa cup for a total of 2 points. The salsa is sooooo good and I find that the Garden Vegetable Wheat Thins are more salty (thus better) than the 5-Grain kind.
And here's my go-to lunch and dinner staple:

I basically live on these. These are cheaper than the Bocca Chik'n Patties at my grocery store, but they taste basically the same. And I honestly can't tell the difference between these and regular chicken patties (and neither can my husband!!!). They're great chopped up over salad or over mac & cheese, or with veggies. For dinner on Saturday, I cooked one and chopped it up into little bits and put the bits into the Progresso Tomato Basil soup. Yum. One chik'n patty is just 3 points (so sometimes I have 2 a day) and I could eat them any time, any place.
And for a really sweet (low points) late night treat, I make SwissMiss hot chocolate (the low fat kind that has only 20 calories or something crazy) and float half a cup of mini marshmallows on top. I wait till the marshmallows get a little melty and gooey and go to town (all for like 2 or 3 points, depending on the amount of marshmallows).
Anyone else on the WW bandwagon? Or have any go-to foods they love when trying to keep an eye on the scale?

As it turns out, I'm bribing myself.

Because I spend half my day browsing Etsy and because I am in love with London Blue Topaz:
Ocean Blue Topaz Raw Circle Ring by singleBbeautiful
I'm thinking this might be my motivation for losing the 10lbs I've been trying to lose since.... well, let's just say since I've been the weight I am now. My current weight is 15 pounds less than what I was the Christmas before my wedding, and 10 pounds more than what I was in college. And 10 pounds less is always my goal.
Refering back to the first post ever, this year we were supposed to:
  1. Figure out a solid get out of debt plan. I'm making this off as accomplished, as this year was about the plan. This Jan. 1 I'll change it to just "Get out of debt" and hopefully this time next year we'll be able to check this off as well.
  2. Lose 15 lbs. Well, I'd be happy with 10. But fine, we'll go with 15 - so when I'm a solid 15 pounds lighter, I'm ordering that ring. As for the baby weight... we'll see what happens!
  3. Find something I love to do and get paid to do it.... well, folks..... neither of my current jobs fit the bill (please, like my mall job is anything more than access to nice pants at a huge discount) and I'm 100% clueless as to where to start. What am I qualified to do? Does anyone like their job, or am I trying to attain something 98% of people don't actually have? This may be a topic for another post.

Hmmm.... I didn't mean for this to be a full on "New Year's Resolution Check-In", but I guess that's what it is. I'd like to at least be 2 for 3 on the resolutions, so I'm going to really focus on #2 in October.... and I'm hoping that ring will make an appearence in our anniversary photos. So let's just make it 10 pounds, ok? Deal.

Weight check in on Monday. See you then.

Because diets suck...

... and I'm always looking for ways to make the whole thing more tolerable, I'm hoping we can trade some secrets. Here's my list of must haves to get me through the day.... you can share yours below. Ready for the photo tour?

I buy the Cran-Pomegranate flavor in bulk; it's that good. It's way better than Crystal Light's cranberry powder mix and actually tastes like juice. It's not thick like juice, but it really helps me choke down enough water to meet the 8 glasses a day thing. I haven't tried the other flavors yet, but Cran-Pom is totally where it's at.

I like to eat. I especially like to eat in bulk. A handful of almonds? Yeah, ok. A fun-size pack of M&M's? Please. The good stuff is always measured in quantities that would satisfy an infant, so I always double (triple?) up. Obviously that's why I'm here right now devising ways to lose weight.... Anyway, airpopped popcorn is totally cool to eat in mass quantities, since each cup only has 20 calories and a bunch of fiber. So really, 10 cups is only 200 calories, and it takes a loooong time to eat. My kind of snack.
The grill has become a key player in weight loss around the house. Last night was pork loin and zucchini, tonight was chicken and grilled red peppers... it's so easy to throw a piece of meat on with some veggies. I almost don't miss the carbs I'd normally be making if I were cooking in the kitchen. The added bonus is that I don't cook on the grill - Ryan does. What does this mean for me? I get to sit on the porch with a beer and enjoy a great view of my husband's behind. And then I get served a pretty kick ass dinner. Yep, the grill was a pretty great investment.

Source

The Crate & Barrel salt and pepper mill we received as a wedding gift is really the unsung hero in this household. There is really nothing like the taste of fresh cracked pepper - I really don't think I could ever go back to the ground stuff. Pepper goes on everything now and gives it such a great flavor that I really concentrate on what I'm eating. On the flip side, I use less salt than I used to because the flavor of the freshly milled salt is super strong and I don't need as much.

More FitDay

Yesterday's eating plan was a little thrown off when I got a call from Job #2 canceling for the day. I had a careful 1300 calories planned out, but that went out the door when I found out I'd be having dinner with my husband - like hell I was eating a sandwich while he ate something delicious off the grill! We ended up throwing a pork tenderloin on the grill along with some zucchini. We doubled up on the zuke, skipped the rice that I reallllllly wanted to make, and sat outside enjoying dinner. Ryan ended up stopped for a six-pack on the way home, so you'll notice in my chart below there's a new line for alcohol. All in all, I did pretty good, and even had some airpopped popcorn last night while watching the season finale of "16 & Pregnant" (more on that below). Here are my stats from yesterday:

I did good with fiber and protein, but really need to figure out a way to ease up on the carbs. Ha, who am I kidding - I love carbs.

Moving on. Who saw the season finale of "16 & Pregnant" on MTV? I didn't watch any of the episodes all season, but heard that every episode is a huge shitshow. My sister texts me last night to let me know that the season finale was on and that I should watch it, and so I did. And then I proceeded to cry for the entire hour as these 2 kids made the huge life-altering decision to give up their baby for adoption. It was crazy.

And finally, who saw Harry Potter? We haven't, yet, so don't spoil it, but I'm wondering how well it followed the book and all that jazz. We've got tickets for Saturday morning, and I am so excited!

FU Self.com

That Self.com quiz pissed me off the other day. I wouldn't say I'm terribly overweight, and truthfully, I'm not even sure I'd look ok at 121lbs. I enjoy my boobs and behind, thankyouverymuch.

That being said, I do (still) need to lose 5-10 lbs. Having done Weight Watchers on and off for the last few years, I can honestly say that while it does work, it makes me really anxious. The point counting is all I can think about - How many points is this muffin? How many points do i have left? What if I go out for lunch?

So basically, I was paying almost $40 a month to be all stressed out by the damn points. I can handle the stress (I mean, I go to my full time job, right?), it was the paying for it that was starting to bum me out.

A while ago I read about FitDay on That Wife's blog and thought it sounded pretty easy to use... at any rate, it was free. So for the past few days I've been using it to log my weight each morning and my foods throughout the day. It takes a bunch of planning in the morning (I was WAY to laxy to do it the night before), but once you get it set up with your custom foods, it's as easy as clicking boxes to move foods to the current day.

Yesterday I did really well! Since I don't have time to work out (FU, Job #2) on a daily basis, I figured a meal plan of 1200-1300 calories would be best for me. Truthfully, it doesn't seem like a lot, but if you pick a variety of foods with lower calories and good fiber and protein, it can work. Yesterday I didn't even eat the whole turkey sandwich I made because I just wasn't hungry!

Here are my stats from Fitday:

And here's what I ate:
Breakfast: bowl of Kix cereal (1.25 cups) and skim milk (.5 cup)
AM Snack: hummus (2 tbsp) and baby carrots (3oz bag)
Lunch: "Healthy Choice" Pot Stickers (frozen, ready to eat meal)
PM Snack: Fiber One bar, 17 slices of Hormel Turkey Pepperoni
Dinner: Scrambled Eggs with Veggie Shreds (1 whole, 1 egg white; .25 cups of Veggie Shreds) AND turkey sandwich (Sandwich thin, 2 slices of deli turkey, 1 wedge Laughing Cow low fat swiss cheese)

The dinner sandwich worked because I was in the car on my way to Job #2.... I'm doing the exact same plan tonight and I have the same schedule. I also stopped at 7-11 on my way to work and grabbed a 44oz cup and filled it with just ice. When I got to work, I used the office water cooler to fill that bad boy up. I then proceeded to drink the entire thing over the course of the day. I peed probably 5-6 times. I should probably drink more water on a regular basis.

What are your tips and tricks for weight loss - and please don't tell me hours in the gym, since time is a commodity I don't really have these days.
