Tiffany's. Because I am newly in love with this beautiful sparkly little thing:The reality would be that Tiffany wants to charge $275 for the small silver locket. That's a lot of dollars and it makes me a little sad. Look at the shiny finish and the perfect Tiffany Blue lining...

Maybe when we go to Chicago, we can Just Look. Because Just Looking is free. Just Looking doesn't put this baby around my neck, though, which isn't really a plus. It's actually sort of a minus. I wonder what we could do about that...

EDIT: I was fooling around on Tiffany.com last night and found a very cool feature that will resize your picture to fit in their locket... how great is that? I used to have a heart shaped locket a long time ago, but it never had any pictures in it because I could never get them cut right. Tiffany took care of all the dirty work and I had to share it with you.

Here's the pop up:

It asks you to upload a picture, and then pick the shape (oval or heart) and size (.5 or 1 inch) of the locket. Once you do that, it greys out everything but what will fit in the locket you picked out. It has a button that allows you to zoom in and out to get the picture just right. Here's what would go inside my locket - that's Ryan walking downstairs before our wedding ceremony to do some pictures with the guys. How handsome is he?!

After you have your picture exactly how you want it in the little window, you just click "print" and it prints the picture in the correct size/shape for your locket. How genius is that?

Ryan and I have recently gotten into 30 Rock and the other night I noticed Tina Fey's (Liz Lemon's?) necklace:

It's just a gold disc with her initial on it and I love it. Much research would show that it is made by Helen Ficalora. About 30 seconds of research would show that Helen is too good to list her prices on her website. Damn you, Helen. So now do I call the 1-800 number listed on the website to then hear that these little discs are $400 each and then say "Oh, thanks for the info...." ::click:: ? Or do I just hope that one day it shows up at my house? Why do I love things that cost lots of dollars? Well, probably costs a lot of dollars, I should say... since good old Helen chose to not post her prices. I think we both know that when prices aren't listed it usually means Out of Your League.

I honestly have an uncanny ability to look at a selection of items and unknowingly choose the most expensive thing. Usually it's the sparkliest. I'm like a friggin' Magpie. Yup. Me and Magpies. We heart sparkly things sooooo hard.

Research (ie Google) answers the time old question: Why do magpies like shiny things? "Because magpies are intelligent, curious beings that like to explore. Shiny things interest them as toys, play-pretties, or something to stash away. They like to hoard. Allegedly these have been on the market since February 1... the Verizon Hub. Like a big cell phone with tons of cool apps for your kitchen. Or for your home office for the business you may or may not have. According to the commercial, it shows traffic, weather, sends and recieves texts, pictures, and videos, and operates as a phone. So yes, it's like a cell phone/landline hybrid - for $200. But then it's only $35 a month, which includes unlimited texts and pic/video messages.... I am sooooooo getting this for my home office (when I have one).
