One week ago today, I woke up at 4am and realized that my water had broken.
One week ago today, I spent 15 hours in labor and another 4 hours pushing.... and then got wheeled into the OR because someone's little head was actually not so little.
One week ago today, I fell more in love with my husband than I ever knew was possible.
One week ago today, I heard "It's a girl" at 11:54pm and a good hearty scream a minute or so later, and finally laid eyes on my daughter shortly after midnight.
One week ago today, our world was forever changed by a perfect little 8lb, 13oz angel-face princess..... and every day with her is better than the last.
