Blogging with Baby

It's funny... I love reading about other people's pregnancies and babies, but I feel a little weird posting about my own baby. I'm not sure why... maybe because I'd feel weird if my mom was blogging about me and posting my business all over the internets? Or because when is the appropriate time to stop - when she's in kindergarten? Middle school?

On one hand, I want to post tons of pics and tell you about the cool stuff she's doing. On the other hand, I feel kind of weird about it. And that is weird, because normally I post all kinds of stuff and don't think twice about it.

And I LOVE reading other people's birth stories... but I'm afraid to post mine. In my head, it was the most special 19 hours of my life and I got to share it only with my husband (and my midwife and 2 nurses names Debra and Jill).... and it's like once it's written down for everyone to read... it's out there.

Blogging is a weird thing... where do you draw the line? Do you have a line?

Haha! I say do it! I have been wanting to post my birth story because I love reading other birth stories, but it seems really weird to to do it 9 months after it happened. I would love to read your birth story... hint, hint! ;p

I think I know what you mean--a birth story is a crap-load of personal intimate (sometimes embarrassing) details!

I think its pretty safe to blog about baby, because all babies go through similar stages and functions, but understand your concern about where to stop.

Share as much as you're comfortable with, but know we would rather hear more than less! ;-)
