17 weeks!

Whooo hooo! This is the last week of my 4th month of pregnancy... I can't believe in 3 weeks I'll be halfway to meeting this child. It's crazy. I don't even "feel" pregnant... besides the awesomeness of stretchy pants, everything is pretty normal. I feel great, I still fit into some of my regular shirts, I only had a week or so of real morning sickness... so basically I'm waiting for the hammer to drop. I've been told that I shouldn't feel like hell until the last few weeks, but I feel like I've been so lucky this far and that I'm bound to be miserable like the girls I read about on The Bump (which is so scary; stay away from the second trimester board) at some point.

So with us being almost at the halfway mark, I've been doing some reading on baby gear (Baby Bargains
has been my favorite) and we officially decided on a crib:

It's the Graco Lauren Classic Convertible Crib
in white. I love the crisp lines and slightly higher back. It also got great reviews in Baby Bargins. It's on sale right now on Amazon for $135 with free shipping and I am dying to buy it before it goes back up (and without shipping, as sometimes on Amazon it's shipping from Target and then includes $50 in shipping). I basically stalk it every day to see if it'll go lower and this is the best price I've seen. I know this is the one we want... but is 17 weeks too early? I mean, at our last ultrasound we saw Baby H practicing swallowing, so there is no doubt that there'll be a little peanut here in Novemeber, and Baby is going to need a place to sleep, right? I am sooo tempted to buy it... just tell me it's ok :-)

PS - 17 week bump photo to come later this afternoon!

Congrats on making it this far so well. The last weeks can be a bit of a challenge. By that time the new wears off and you just want to meet your baby and sleep on your stomach!
