You can take the girl out of Jersey, but you can't take the Jersey out of the girl. Case in point - I haven't lived there since 2004, and I still hate pumping my own gas.

Know what really made me laugh? The other day we were watching the news (I know, why?) and the whole NJ scandal thing came up. And as Ryan and I watched it, mouths slightly agape, we thought out loud to each other: "I mean, where do they (the rest of America) think they came up with the story line for The Sopranos?"

Twenty seconds later THE NEWS ANCHOR made a derogatory comment about this "being low, even for New Jersey". Twenty seconds after that, THE NEWS cut to a clip of Tony Soprano doing business in the back of the Bing.

Seriously. We weren't even watching Fox News. It was W-BAL. Whatev. Where do you think they got the story line for The Sopranos, anyway? :-)
