Domesticated Bliss

October 1 through December 31 is my favorite time of the year. September is too "back to school" for my taste and January is just depressing, but October, November, and December are pure holiday bliss.

One of my favorite things to do in the fall is bake, and Williams-Sonoma has some fancy items that I hope land in my kitchen soon:

Acorn Cakelet Pan

I so wish I could stay home and make fun desserts and fabulous dinners every day of the week. Some day....

I was there a few weekeends ago and I say those there! I fell in love with them and desperately wanted to buy them but alas we're on this debt elimination spree still so I will probably have to wait until next fall. *Sigh* they had a couple other fall pans that I loved to! And some delicious sounding spreads including a snickerdoodle one! I was *this close* to walking out with their pumpkin pancake mix for their specialty pancake pan (don't ask me to spell it because I'd butcher it royally) but I'm going to try some home experimentation instead.

Cakelets?! Seriously how cute is that.

I think I have some W-S gift cards laying around from the wedding somewhere... ;)

I love the acorm mold and the Pie Pocket molds. I do not bake though, so I guess I'll have to get my husband to fall in love with them :)

I saw the acorn pan in the store and loved it. I'm finally able to stay home and bake, of course the kids are gone, and I gain weight too easily if I eat too many sweets and my husband isn't a sweet eater. So, timing is everything!
