Probably to good to be true, but...

I may have found the answer to my carb-loving prayers. This semi-gross looking package:

Actually, it's not a bag of tapeworms; it's a bag of angel hair "pasta" and I've got two of these bad boys on their way to me.

My mom turned me on to Hungry-Girl (.com) a few weeks ago and I can't get enough of her crafty tips and tricks for losing weight - she's re-worked some standard recipes to make them diet friendly and has included WW points for everything! That's especially helpful for me, as I'm currently tracking my points in an effort to drop 10 lbs by March 1 (obviously stay tuned to see if it works out).

But I digress... the real reason for this post is to see if anyone has heard of Shirataki Konjac Noodles. I've spent the better part of two days looking for some FDA reason to not try these out - they're apparently fat free, carb free, and full of fiber.... noodles that are 0 points. ZERO POINTS, PEOPLE!!! Now these are not to be confused with the tofu variety; these konjac-derived noodles are made from yams. I can't find anything that would indicate that I probably shouldn't at least try these, so I ordered 2 pouches online this afternoon. They should be here by the end of the week - I'll keep you posted!

Until then, you can check out some other folks' experiences with them here, here, and here.
