Double Digits

What! How did I go from 38 more weeks to just 99 days until my due date??? With our jam-packed weekends and "just make it to Friday" work weeks, the days are literally flying by (except between the hours of 9a-5p, Mon-Fri... those just drag) and it's going to be the fall before I know it.

That means 2 things: back to school and my due date. Holy crap! Also "holy crap" worthy? My growing belly:






Wow my face was thin back around the 13 week mark. Probably because I hadn't put on 25 pounds at that time. Yup, I'm heading into Week 26 at plus 25 pounds... my midwife hasn't gotten too mad (yet) but is sending me for an early glucose test. Yikes. I'm actually headed out the door to the hospital to get my blood drawn now... and for those wondering: the Glucola is actually pretty great. Just like super sweet (but flat) orange soda. Yum. No, really. Yum.

    You look great!! I have 12 days until I hit the 100 days left mark.

    I didn't know you had a midwife, are you doing a home birth??

    My midwife wants me to do the glucose test too...boo!

    I think you look cute, it is all in your stomach...it will come off quickly. Hope all went well with the test.
